Prints

A giclee (zhee-clay) print is a high-quality, digital reproduction. These prints are created from a high-resolution scan, printed with a wide-format inkjet printer that uses pigment (not dye), on archival paper. Together, these criteria create a print that is made to last and looks almost identical to the original 2-D work. Prints are shipped rolled up in a mailing tube - please allow up to 3 weeks for shipment and up to 4-5 weeks for enlarged prints which I don’t keep in my inventory and need to custom order.

"How To Be Alone (Mt Baker)" - limited edition giclee print

$75.00

Mt Baker from the “How To Be Alone” series of commissions. I began the series named "How To Be Alone" as kind of a meditation on the discomfort associated with the isolation we are all experiencing due to the Corona Virus. The goal was to reflect on the yearning and grief I associated with missing the mountainous landscapes I love. The other goal was to make smaller, quicker, and more gestural works of art in order to make them more affordable and also connect with my emotions for these places places more intuitively. I decided to make limited edition prints of some of my favorite pieces from the “How To Be Alone” series and this Mt Baker piece is one of them.
