Description: I began climbing in the Utah desert almost 25 years ago, and it had been almost 6 years since my last visit with my wife who was pregnant at the time. Last fall I spent a couple weeks there climbing and making art. While I got some good climbing in, one of the highlights was exploring this landscape with my 2 and 5 year old daughters, who experienced this place for the first time. We spent a few days exploring and making art together, and this is one of the pieces of Monitor and Marrimac Buttes just outside of Canyonlands National Park.

*** It is framed in one of my handmade frames and ready to hang. This frame is made of birch (slightly bleached) with oak splines and clear stain.
